Morpheus is the name of god from ancient Greek mythology, the god of dreams signifying “fashioner and moulder”. For designers Mag and Kemi, design process is always about how to morph different ideas and elements into new pieces, they choose jewelry as the channel to express their imagination, vision and obsession, in this way through the creations link their own world with others. With diverse influences by a fashion, art and nature universe, the designers draw inspiration from historic artifacts and sculptures while at the same time retaining modern minimal aesthetics. They are not interested in objects solely of rarity and uniqueness, they are attracted by the usual things in ordinary life that seem fairly familiar at first, but there is always something unexpected when observed closely. To ensure that the jewelry is not purely highlighting ornamental value, they are designed to explore the relationship to the body resulting from manipulating the choice of length, form, color, proportion and way of wearing.
